Writing Update

capnshellheadI lost quite a few days when I got sick with the flu. That was a bummer because I spent most of my time off work sick. At least I finished my 2018 Goodreads Challenge. I always feel pretty off kilter when I have time off and I don't get any significant writing done.
Anyway:
- I'm still hard at work on the story exploring Steve's PTSD. It is 616, although I realize that's a bit more of a challenge for me compared to MCU SteveTony. I chose 616 because I'm really intrigued by the way the writers (unknowingly) handled Steve's symptoms in the 1963 comics. It's about 7k words at the moment. The draft is done but it looks like I'll be adding in some of Steve's thoughts on Demon in a Bottle... which meant I had to reread Demon in a Bottle so, that's going to take some time.
- I'm still 2 squares away from finishing Steve/Tony bingo. The truth spell idea I have will probably end up being a lot longer than I thought it would be. Which means, I'll have to start this week if I want it to be finished in time. I still have no ideas for the "Plot twist" square.
- There's another Steve/Tony idea I've been working on. It was just supposed to be a cute little one shot set in early New Avengers (2004) canon, before the angst of Civil War. Just a "What if Tony had Jessica's abilities?" I wanted it to be a short little thing with jealous!Steve. I just can't get the tone right but, the draft is done. Once I'm done editing it, I'll probably seek a beta because either it's just not as upbeat as I wanted it to be or, it just seems that way because I'm still getting over my cold.
That's all for now. I want to branch into some new writing styles this year!
